● Lu Xun’s Former Residence
The Lu Xun Museum includes both the Lu Xun Memorial Hall and his former residence.
Reservations are required in advance through their official WeChat account, and entry is free with an ID.
Inside, you'll find fresh flowers placed before Lu Xun’s statue by visitors.
● Zhengyang Bookstore
Known as the most beautiful bookstore in Beijing, it houses the "Wansong Old Man Tower," a relic tower.
The courtyard preserves the traditional quadrangle courtyard style, with wooden windows weathered by time, showcasing the marks of the past.
The bookstore has a tabby cat that has gotten used to the flow of visitors, peacefully sleeping on a bench.
● Xishiku Church
A stunning Gothic-style building, over 300 years old.
The interior features a European-style dome, with colorful stained-glass windows that are breathtakingly beautiful—this was my main reason for visiting!
Between 3-4 pm, the sunlight shines through the windows, creating the perfect photo opportunity.
Transport Route
Take Line 2 of the subway to Fuchengmen Station, exit at B, and walk about 300 meters to reach Lu Xun’s Former Residence.
Street Food
Along this route, you'll find two famous Hu Guo Si Snacks shops serving traditional Beijing treats like fermented bean juice, crispy dough rings, duck giblets, sugar-coated fire buns, and noodle tea. Make sure to try them all for a taste of old Beijing!
