The Ancient City Wall of Xi'an is one of the best-preserved city walls in China and a remarkable example of ancient military architecture. Constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644), the wall stretches approximately 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) around the city and is up to 12 meters (39 feet) high in some places.
Visitors can walk or cycle along the top of the wall, enjoying panoramic views of both the historic city and the modern urban landscape. The wall features several gates, each with its own unique architectural style and historical significance. Inside the wall, the city retains a rich cultural heritage, with traditional neighborhoods, markets, and historical sites.
