Mogao Caves
The Mogao Caves, located in Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, are the jewel of the world's cultural heritage and are known as the “Pearl of Oriental Art”. Here preserved more than a thousand years countless craftsmen carefully created murals, sculptures and scrolls, each cave tells an ancient story. Walking into the Mogao Grottoes, as if stepping into a colorful historical corridor, let a person intoxicated by the exquisite art.
Opening time: High seasons(Apr. 1st to Nov. 30th): 8:00-18:00(Stop entry time: 16:00)
Low seasons(Dec. 1st to Mar. 31st): 9:00-17:30(Stop entry time: 15:00)
Tickets: High seasons(Apr. 1st to Nov. 30th): Full-price ticket for foreign guests: RMB 258/each.
Low seasons(Dec. 1st to Mar. 31st): Full-price ticket for foreign guests: RMB 160/each.
