The Temple of Heaven, located in the southeastern part of Beijing, is a stunning complex of religious buildings that served as a ceremonial site for the Ming and Qing dynasties. Built in 1420, it was here that emperors performed rituals to pray for good harvests and seek blessings from the heavens. 

Covering an area of approximately 2.7 square kilometers, the Temple of Heaven is surrounded by lush gardens and ancient trees, making it a peaceful retreat from the urban hustle. Visitors can stroll through the park, admire the intricate architecture, and witness locals engaging in tai chi, dancing, and other traditional activities.
