Zhaoxing Dong village
Zhaoxing Dong Village is located in the southeastern part of Guizhou Province, China, and is one of the largest and most famous Dong villages in China. It is situated in Liping County, within the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture. The village is known for its rich Dong culture, stunning architecture, and beautiful natural surroundings. Zhaoxing is often referred to as the "village of five drums" due to its five large drum towers, which are iconic structures in Dong culture. Visitors can experience the vibrant traditions of the Dong people, including their music, dance, and unique wooden houses. The village is also surrounded by picturesque landscapes, including terraced fields and mountains, making it a popular destination for both cultural exploration and nature lovers.
