Morning: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Take the Glacier Park Cable Car to witness: Spectacular glaciers (year-round snow), Viewing platform at 4,680m (oxygen cans available), Tibetan prayer flags against mountain vistas.
Midday: Spruce Meadow. Serene alpine meadow (3,240m elevation) surrounded by ancient spruce forest, Wooden boardwalk loop (easy 40-min walk) with mountain views, Traditional Naxi grazing grounds (spot yaks in summer).
Lunch

Afternoon: Blue Moon Valley. Four turquoise mineral lakes fed by glacier meltwater. Waterfall viewpoints & classic "mountain mirror" photo spots.

Morning: Cangshan Mountain Park
Begin your adventure at Cangshan Mountain, one of Dali's iconic "Wind-Flower-Snow-Moon" landscapes (representing "Snow on Cangshan"). This biodiversity haven features alpine lakes, primeval forests, and glacial relics, offering three distinct exploration routes:  

Option A: Ximatan Cableway
- Ascend to 3,900m via Yunnan's highest-altitude cableway ("Stairway to Heaven")  
- Witness glacial Ximatan Lake (legend says Kublai Khan watered horses here)  
- Seasonal highlights: May-Jun for rhododendron blooms, Dec-Feb for frost landscapes  
- Panoramic views of Dali Old Town and Malong Peak (Cangshan's highest point)  

Option B: Gantong Cableway  
- Ideal for light hiking with "half-mountain, half-lake" vistas  
- Walk through secluded valleys to Qingbi Stream and the "Chessboard Rock"  
- Least crowded option with optimal effort-to-view ratio  

Option C: Zhonghe Cableway
- Only open-chairlift experience (no glass barriers)  
- Soak in 360° views of pine forests and Erhai breezes  
- Disembark at 1,000-year-old **Zhonghe Temple** with its lake-view platform  

Afternoon: Erhai Lake & Three Pagodas
Discover Erhai Lake, Yunnan's second-largest freshwater lake shaped like a human ear:  
- Cruise past Bai fishing villages with traditional cormorant fishermen  
- Visit wetlands teeming with migratory birds (Nov-Apr)  
- Capture the "Erhai Moon" reflection at golden hour  

Continue to Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas:  
- 9th-century royal Buddhist complex featured in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils
- The main Qianxun Pagoda (69.6m) has survived 34 earthquakes  
- Best photo spot: Reflection pond with Cangshan backdrop  

Evening: Dali Ancient Town
As night falls, the town transforms: Try tie-dye workshops at Zhoucheng Village. Listen to folk ballads in Renmin Road's courtyard bars. Sample "rushan" (milk fan cheese) at Huguo Road Night Market. Climb South Gate Tower for neon-lit cityscapes.
