Daci'en Temple, located in Xi'an, is a significant Buddhist temple complex known for its historical and cultural importance. The site is best known for the iconic Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built in the 7th century during the Tang Dynasty. Standing at 64 meters (210 feet), the pagoda was originally constructed to store sacred Buddhist texts brought back from India by the monk Xuanzang.
The temple and pagoda are surrounded by beautiful gardens, making it a serene place for reflection and prayer. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is an architectural marvel, showcasing traditional Chinese design, and offers stunning views of the surrounding area from its upper levels.
