Pingtan Island
Pingtan Island is the fifth largest island in China and the largest island in Fujian Province. It is a pearl of Fujian Province and is located on the west coast of the Taiwan Strait, only 68 nautical miles away from Hsinchu, Taiwan. Pingtan Island is famous for its unique island scenery, rich natural resources and profound cultural heritage, and attracts many tourists. It is a national scenic spot and international tourist area.

Main attractions and features:
Changjiangao Windmill Field: One of the most representative attractions of Pingtan Island, huge wind turbines are lined up on the seashore, forming a spectacular scene.
Tannan Bay: One of the most beautiful beaches on Pingtan Island, with fine sand and clear water, suitable for swimming and beach activities.
Beigang Village: A traditional fishing village on Pingtan Island, with unique stone house architectural style and full of fishing village style.
Donghai Wonderland: Famous for its strange rocks and sea erosion landforms, attractions include Xianrenjing, Xianren Valley, etc.
Longfengtou Beach: The largest beach on Pingtan Island, with a flat beach and clear water.
Transportation guide:
High-speed rail: Take the high-speed rail from Fuzhou South Station to Pingtan Station (about 1 hour).
Self-driving: It takes about 1.5 hours to drive from Fuzhou City to Pingtan Island.

Dongxiang Island: about 10 kilometers away from Pingtan Island, it is a small island of Pingtan Island with beautiful scenery.
Dalian Island: about 15 kilometers away from Pingtan Island, famous for its strange rocks and sea erosion landforms.
Tangyu Island: about 20 kilometers away from Pingtan Island, it is a small island of Pingtan Island, suitable for exploration and camping.
