Known for its "natural air conditioning," the village boasts an intricate underground water network, a labyrinth of interconnected passageways, and a unique integration of watchtowers and homes. This architectural marvel has been hailed by scholars both domestically and internationally as a "living fossil of Qiang architecture" and a "mysterious oriental fortress." It is a national key cultural heritage site and a significant attraction within the Jiuzhaigou-Huanglong tourism circuit.
