General Information:
Located on the south bank of the Jinjiang River in eastern Chengdu, Wangjianglou Park is renowned for its ancient architectural complex, including the iconic Wangjianglou (River Viewing Tower), the Memorial Hall of Xue Tao, a famous female poet from the Tang Dynasty, and a variety of rare and exotic bamboo species. The park covers an area of 188 mu (about 12.5 hectares), divided into a cultural relics protection zone (39 mu) and an open garden area (149 mu). It is now a national key cultural heritage site.
Main Attractions:
Wangjianglou (River Viewing Tower): The park's landmark, standing 39 meters tall, offers panoramic views of Chengdu from the top.
Xue Tao Memorial Hall: A memorial dedicated to Xue Tao, showcasing her life and literary works.
